[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed Wednesday, Feb. 28 in Observance of Memorial Service

Burnsville city offices and facilities will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 28 in observance of the Public Safety Memorial Service honoring our fallen heroes.  

The closure includes Burnsville City Hall, Burnsville Ice Center, Ames Center, Birnamwood Golf Course, Burnsville Maintenance Facility, Police Station and Fire Stations No. 1 and 2. 

The Burnsville Ice Center will reopen for activities at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28. Normal city operations at Burnsville city offices will resume Thursday, Feb. 29. 

Public safety and emergency services will continue be available to the community throughout the Public Safety Memorial Service, thanks to the assistance of mutual aid partners, Dakota County public safety agencies and EMS providers. Residents in need of public safety services (emergency or non-emergency) should call 9-1-1. 

For Voting Services Feb. 28

Residents who need to vote in-person Feb. 28 may visit a Dakota County Service Center or call 952-895-4491 to vote at Burnsville City Hall. Dakota County Service Center locations include: 

  • 1590 Highway 55, Hastings, MN  55033 
  • 1 Mendota Road West, West St. Paul, MN 55118 
  • 14955 Galaxie Avenue, Apple Valley, MN 55124
