South of the River Recreators (S.O.R.R.)
The City of Burnsville partners with the cities of Apple Valley, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville, Rosemount and Savage to offer a variety of leagues. Activities take place in the S.O.R.R. city that coordinates the league. Age and residency requirements vary with each activity.
Hockey: Open hockey and the South of the River hockey league are held at the Burnsville Ice Center. Hockey programs are available throughout the year.
Kickball: S.O.R.R. Co-Rec Spring/Summer Kickball is a great way to relive everyone's favorite playground game. A tournament will be held at the end of the season. Kickball is coordinated by the City of Apple Valley and held at various parks.
Bocce Ball: S.O.R.R. Co-Rec Spring/Summer Bocce Ball is held at the Savage Community Park, 13550 Dakota Avenue, in Savage, Minnesota. Registration is coordinated by the City of Savage.
